Novartis AG (NVS) announced that Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), a subsidiary of Novartis Groupe S.A., has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of its new drug application or NDA for Lutathera, a treatment for somatostatin receptor positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), in adults. Advanced Accelerator Applications S.A. (AAA) announced in AUG17 that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in the United States, has accepted and considered complete the resubmission of the New Drug Application (NDA) for its investigational drug lutetium Lu 177 dotatate (Lutathera). The European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) recommended eleven medicines for approval at its July 2017 meeting.
