Ligand
(chemistry) An atom, molecule, radical, or ion forming a complex with a central atom
Metastatic
(pathology) The spreading of a disease, esp cancer cells, from one part of the body to another
Malignancy
(pathology) A cancerous growth
Neuroendocrine
Of, relating to, or denoting the dual control of certain body functions by both nervous and hormonal stimulation
PSA
A protein produced by the prostate that may be found in an increased amount in the blood of men who have prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, or an infection of the prostate gland.
PSMA
A PSA that is produced by the membrane of the prostate cancer cells.
Radio Isotope
An isotope that is radioactive
Theranostics
[a portmanteau of therapeutics and diagnostics] Is a proposed process of diagnostic therapy for individual patients to test them for possible reaction to taking new medication and to tailor a treatment plan for them based on the test results
